DS215TCDAG1BZZ01A is a digital I/O board. The TCDA board is located inside the digital I/O cores <Q11> and <Q51>. It is capable of processing the output signals from the two TCRA cards and the input signals from the DTBB and DTBA cards. These signals are then sent to the CTBA and TCQC terminal boards, usually via IONET.
DS215TCDAG1BZZ01A There are several types of connectors that perform different functions. The JP connector is capable of transferring power from the TCPS board to the <Q11> and <Q51> cores. JX1 is the connection for the IONET signal, which is a shielded twisted pair connection. The JX2 connector is also used for the IONET signal. The JQ connector connects to the JQR connector on the DTBA board and provides power to the TCDA board. The JO1 link is not normally used on the <Q11> core, but is used for communication by other cores and can write the contact output signal to the TCRA board in slot 4. The JO2 connector can be used on <Q11>, <Q51> cores, and the collected output signal is written to the TCRA board in slot 5. The JR connector can transmit the input signal from the DTBB board to the TCDA board. The DTBB card is connected to the JRR slot.
The GE DS200TCDAG1B digital I/O board contains a microprocessor and several programmable read-only memory (PROM) modules. Including one block with 10 LEDs and two 50-pin connectors. The GE DS200TCDAG1B Digital I/O board also has 8 jumpers and 1 LED that are visible from the side of the board. The 50-pin connector carries signals that the board receives from other components on the drive. Some of the signals that are sent through the 50-pin connector are sent through the board and other components to the GE Digital I/O DS200TCDAG1B board. The 50-pin connector connects to a ribbon cable that consists of 50 wires, each wire is insulated from the others to keep the signals separate. Each wire consists of multiple wires that can easily break or detach from the connectors at the end of the ribbon cable. If the ribbon cable is disconnected, the signal will also be lost. You may need to run diagnostic tools to find the lost signal. To avoid losing the signal, follow these guidelines when handling ribbon cables:
Pulling the ribbon cable to disconnect it from the board may break the internal wire connections. Instead, use a plastic connector to disconnect it from the 50-pin connector on the board. Grasp the plug firmly and pull it straight out of the socket. Move the ribbon cable out of the way. But do not disturb the internal ribbon cable path of the device.
DS200TCDAG1BDB is used as the interface for the contact input and relay output. The DS200TCDAG1BDB board has a number of jumper switches to provide hardware configuration options, including jumpers J1 to J8. Jumpers J4 to J6 are used for setting the INET address and should be left at the factory settings. J7 enables the stop timer, and J8 is used for enabling the test.
The board also contains components such as LED boards, resistor networks, pin connectors, ICs, vertical pin connectors, capacitors, and relays. The discs are factory-drilled for easy installation and have markings along the edges for easy installation.
