The factory settings are established on the jumpers on the GE I/O Control Board DS200SIOBH1ABA on the original board.
Some jumpers are only supported in one position and cannot be changed.
When the board needs to be replaced, the best practice is to match the jumper positions on the old board with the jumpers on the new board.
As a result, the board will behave consistently and support the drive's performance.
Remove the old board from the drive by removing the screws that hold it in the board rack and removing the board with two hands. Make sure the board doesn't collide with any of the drive's other components.
Flatten out a static protection bag on a clean, dry surface nearby.
Place the old board on the bag. Slid out the replacement board from the sealed protective bag it was kept in.
Place it next to the old board while carrying it with two hands. Set the switches to match the old board's switch placements.
