Introductions

The IOCR2 card acts as a signal and communications interface for the CPUR2 card. It also protects all inputs against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and signal surges to meet electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards. LEDs on the front panel of the IOCR2 card (rear of VM600 rack) indicate the status of the system Ethernet and fieldbus communications.
