The Allen-Bradley 1794-OB32P is a 24V DC FLEX-I/O digital module. It has 32 outputs that are electronically fused and grouped into two groups of 16 outputs, with each group having a separate power source. Each output is self-protected against thermal overload and shock. It also has 32 amber status indicators and measures 1.8 x 3.7 x 2.1 inches. The 1794-OB32P can be mounted using a DIN rail mount and is compatible with the 1794-TB32 and 1794-TB32S terminal block assemblies only. The 1794-OB32P module's on-state output voltage ranges from a minimum of 10V DC to a maximum of 31.2V DC, with a maximum on-state output voltage drop of 0.5V DC. The modules per channel have a minimum on-state current output of 1 mA and a maximum on-state output current of 500 mA per channel, for a total of 14 A per module. However, this module has different current ratings for the two output groups. Channels 0-15 have a total of 6 A, channels 16-31 have a total of 8 A. The module has a maximum output surge current of 2 A for 50 ms, repeatable every 2 seconds, and an off-state output leakage current of 0.5 mA. The 1794-OB32P has an external DC current range of 103-273 mA and an external DC voltage range of 10-31.2 VDC, including 5% AC ripple. The Allen-Bradley 1794-OB32P is a current sourcing discrete output module. This module is part of the Flex I/O family of thirty-two (32) electronically protected output channels. Discrete output modules, including the 1794-OB32P, are used to implement control output commands for programmable logic controllers (PLCs). In particular, the 1794-OB32P is particularly suitable for use with electronic and electrical components that operate on 24 VDC, such as indicator devices such as pilot lamps and beacons.
