*The CPU 040/060 module is used as the main processor for the NetConTM/MicroNet platform and the 040 TMR product line. Newer CPUs have replaced this function, and the older design is no longer manufacturable due to component obsolescence.
*Converting a NetCon system to a new CPU will require an application software update, a new chassis, new power supplies, and possibly an I/O module update. Converting a MicroNet system to a new CPU will require an application software and possibly an I/O module update. A TMR system will require replacement of all *CPUs and core power supplies, as well as an I/O module update. A new set of software service tools are available for conversion to a new CPU.
